Easy Red Wine Jelly
Red Wine Jelly is super easy. I made it in less than half an hour.
Start with one bottle of red wine.
Add 1/2 cup lemon juice
Add one packet of pectin
Whisk all those things together and bring to a boil.
Add 4 1/2 cups of sugar.
And bring it all to a hard boil, stirring constantly. Keep it at a hard boil for two minutes. Then can using your standard canning techniques.

Meat would be okay. Better with cheese and/or fruit. Also good on a peanut butter sandwich.

My daughter made the Red Wine Jelly and gave a jar of it to me. We had breakfast at "supper time." It was delicious with hot biscuits, scrambled eggs and Jimmy Dean sage flavored pork sausage.
Rating it from 1 to 5 and 5 being best, I would give it a 5. Would make great little gifts in a Christmas basket.
