Hmmm, does this count?

During the Superbowl, while CJ was away watching the game, I put in a documentary and crocheted him an awesome scarf. See...

Well, he thinks it is too feminine and won't wear it. So, I have a new scarf, but the question is, does it count as a finished goal?

Meanwhile, I saw my first of 50 documentaries. It was "American Pimps" and I liked it. It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. It is about pimps in America. I found it a bit one sided since they only talk to pimps and hoes. I wish they would have talked to advocates or police or anyone to give the other side of the story.

Completed:

1 scarf for CJ?

1/50 documentaries.

The scarf def. counts...it's not your fault that CJ has no taste.

I agree...the scarf counts! Here are a few documentaries that I've enjoyed.

    The Weather Underground
    Jesus Camp
    Unborn in the USA
    The Business of Being Born

I definitely think the scarf counts! If he doesn't want it, you could always send it to Knit Your Bit.

A documentary that I saw recently that I liked is "Paper Clips." It's about a school in the south that teaches its students about the Holocaust. Amazing story.

Thanks for the documentaries. I've seen 2 of the 4 and will add the other two.

Knit Your Bit is awesome. I may have to get my craft group on that.

And I'll add Paper Clips too.

What kinds of things do you do in craft group? Is it kind of like book club, but with crafts instead? Or like a knitting circle?

I guess it is like a knitting circle, sort of. We all bring whatever craft we are working on (knit, crochet, picture framing, sewing, whatever) and we sit around and do it for a couple hours. Usually there is food and sometimes drink. It is a good time.

    1-- That scarf counts.

2-- I'm sure there's no shortage of good docs. out there to watch, but I want to recommend "Pumpming Iron". Is it technically a documentary? I'm not sure. Is it technically awesome? Yes.

If you took off the fringe would CJ find it more manly?

I just started King Corn today, being inspired by your many documentaries. I don't know if you've seen it... but I think it would be up your alley
