Salad

Tomatoes, I love them. Last week I made this super easy, super tasty salad.

Heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, salt, pepper, basil, and balsamic vinegar. What could be easier or more tasty?

We Like Fish

We eat a lot of fish. I like to cook fish. I like to order it at restaurants.

Here's a sweet little meal I made the other day. Salmon, on a bed of watercress, with a mustard vinaigrette.

Tonight I made pan fried trout. Salt, pepper, olive oil, trout. Easiest dish in the world. The trout is local and bought at the farmers' market from the farmers. We made a side of farmers' market zucchini, potatoes, and onions too.

Summer Lovin'

I picked up some spring onions and radishes from a stall at the Farmer's Market last weekend. I love fresh food. I love this time of year.
CJ cooked up some hamburgers with locally raised beef and I made a sweet salad with corn, radishes and spring onions. Fresh and delicious, it was outstanding.

Dogs and Salad

After a fire in my kitchen, while I was outside tending the grill (where the hotdogs also burnt), came this meal.

Hot Dogs and an Arugula Salad with Panchetta and Parm.

Every Day Food

We don't eat bison and ribs every night. We can't. We both work full time, and I often don't get home until late. On those nights we have leftovers, or takeout, or taco salad.

We eat Taco Salad at least once a week. Lots of lettuce, some beef/beans/chicken, some salsa, and whatever else we have around the house. It is the easiest, tastiest thing we throw together in the middle of the week.
Tonight we had hamburgers on the grill. Boring again.
